People don't think, they just blurt,
Bad names that can really hurt.
Don't call people jerks,
Everyone has their perks.
Instead of being mean,
Keep your voice quite clean.
When you say nice stuff, people feel tall.
When you say mean things, people feel small.
Every time you give a put-down,
To that face you'll bring a sad frown.
You don't want that, you want a smile,
A single smile can last for miles!
So when you want to say bad stuff,
Think to yourself, that's enough!
I don't want to regret the things I did,
When I was my age, just a kid.
