No Name-Calling Week 2012 Creative Expression
Creative Expression is an opportunity for students to submit original pieces, in all mediums, that convey their experiences and feelings about name-calling, and their ideas for putting a stop to bullying in their schools and communities.
This year there is a new category in the exhibit for video submissions focusing on anti-lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (anti-LGBT) name-calling, bullying and harassment.

This year the Creative Expression Exhibit will be themed "365 Days of Respect." For the next year, GLSEN will feature a new submission on the GLSEN.org website daily. Every month, the featured participants will be entered into a drawing to win a GLSEN prize pack, resulting in 12 opportunities to win. Entrants will be notified when their piece will be featured and have the opportunity to allow friends and family to view their piece on the website.
DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: Friday, March 2, 2012
All entries must be postmarked on or received by 6pm Eastern time on Friday, March 2, 2012. Winners will be notified by April 2012.

About No Name-Calling Week
Coordinated by GLSEN in collaboration with over 40 national education organizational partners, No Name-Calling Week is an annual week of educational activities aimed at ending name-calling of all kinds and providing schools with the tools and inspiration to launch an on-going dialogue about ways to eliminate bullying in their communities.
