Words Can Hurt

"Think before you speak"

Is good advice to know.

Don’t let your mouth just leak,

But learn to stop the flow.

Words can really hurt—

Sometimes they feel like knives.

That’s why you shouldn’t blurt

Unless it’s something nice!
