No Name Week

Last year my one friend once got called a teacher’s pet, everyone started to make fun of her.

One day I went up to her and asked her if she was ok, she said no, I asked her why? She said that every one was making fun of her, I said I wasn’t so I told her that she should go tell someone and she said “No,” because then she’ll be called a tattle-tale so I said, well how do you feel now and she said like you would not believe.

She told me how she felt. She said that she feels so mad that she won’t to punch someone and then she said that she went home every day and cried. I said but why if you know it is not true. Why even get mad, she said because it’s going around the whole school and everyone is calling me a teachers pet. She said that she felt like everyone hates her and I said I don’t. So the one day she went to go tell the teacher and the girl said that she was talking about her and calling her names and so the girl that was talking about her got mad at her.

So the next day everyone started to call her a tattle-tale and she got mad again and then she wanted to go talk to the person that started it so she did and they became friends again; and someone else started to make fun of her and it started back up.

For No Name-Calling Week I think we should think before we say stuff because you may not think it would hurt someone but it does. You have to think not just on No Name Week for every week so if someone is making fun of you or calling you names just try to ignore it and if that does not work go tell a teacher or a parent. Don’t try to take care of it by yourself or you can get hurt.
