One day I went to school and my school had a lot of bullies. Thankfully, I hadn’t been bullied yet. Then, one day a new girl came in and sat down. Mr. Stolcter said, “Good morning class! Today we have a new student. Her name is Samantha Scolio.” My hand shot up in the air. He called on me and I said, “I love the name Samantha.” After we were out of class, I said to Samantha, “Hi, I’m Darby.” She said hi to me. I said, “I will show you around after lunch.” She said, “Sure.” I went to lunch and didn’t see Samantha anywhere at any time at lunch. I wondered where she might be. I didn’t worry about it though. Later, in Science, I noticed that Samantha is afraid of everything people say. Everyone knows if a person is afraid of almost everything people say they have been bullied. Right then and there I knew something was up at lunch! Now I’m going to keep a close eye on her. The next day I stayed with Samantha all day long. Except one time I went to the bathroom and when I came out she was gone! Where could she have gone? I asked everyone who passed if they had seen Samantha anywhere. Then Savannah said she went in the classroom with some bullies. I went to the classroom and looked in. I saw some boys named Scott and Matt saying mean things to Samantha. When they came out I was hiding. The bell rang and we had five minutes to get to class. I got to class early and told a teacher what I had seen in Mr. Stolcter’s room. Mrs. Soltin said she would keep an eye on Scott and Matt. So, the next time after lunch, Mrs. Soltin didn’t go to lunch. She caught them and told Samantha to go on ahead. Then Samantha caught up with me. I said, “How does it feel to be free of bullies? She said quickly back to me, “Oh, yes, now let’s eat.” The next day Samantha found out that the boys got expelled from school.
